Follow the steps below to install MTS Converter on your computer:

How To Convert mts Video Movie?

When you get ready to convert your movie, click to start conversion.

Before you start conversion, you can click to adjust the settings related to conversion.

After Converting Done: You can choose to "Shut Down" your computer or "No Action" after the conversion.

CPU Usage: You can choose the max CPU Usage for your computer: 50%, 60%, 70%, 80%, 90%, 100%.

 

How To Adjust Effect mts Video files?

 

MTS Converter allows you to set your movie effects.

Click to open the Effect window, then you can adjust settings according to your need.

Brightness: Drag and click the Brightness adjustment bar to set the brightness of the video.

Contrast: Drag and click the Contrast adjustment bar to set the contrast of the video.

Saturation: Drag and click the Saturation adjustment bar to set the saturation of the video.

Tips:

When you convert the interlaced video formats such as 720i,1080i, for you to obtain better output videos, you can set the Deinterlacing function to avoid the mosaic.

You may meet such problem. The converted video has color distortion or mosaic. Here is a sectional drawing:

Now you can solve such problem by checking Deinterlacing. Here is another sectional drawing after you check Deinterlacing:

720i stands for resolution of 1280x720 pixels and the magic little 'i' means that the video is in interlaced format.

1080i refers to an interlaced HDTV signal with 1080 horizontal lines and an Aspect ratio of 16:9 (1.78:1).

How To Edit Watermark?

 

MTS Converter allows you to edit text and image watermark for the video for you to recreate it.

The types of watermark:

1. Text watermark
Type the text you attempt to use as watermark in text area. Click to edit the font of text.

2. Image watermark
Check to specify the image you attempt to use.

Adjust the place of watermark

Click the drop-down or drop-up arrow of Horizontal and Vertical to adjust the place of watermark. You can also drag the watermark to any place of the video screen.

Adjust the transparency of watermark

Click the drop-down or drop-up arrow of Transparent to adjust the transparencey of the watermark.

How To Trim mts Video Files?

 

MTS Converter allows you to cut your movie, so you can capture your favorite clips from your movie.

Click to open the Trim window, and follow the steps below to capture a clip from your movie.

Set Time Period for Trimming

There are three methods to set trim time:

Method 1: Enter the start time in the Start Time box and click OK, then enter the end time in the Set End Time box and click OK.

Method 2: Drag the scissors bars under the preview window when you want to trim, then the time will be shown in the Start Time box and End Time box for your reference.

Method 3: While playing video, click button where you want to begin your trimming and click button where you want to stop your trimming.

After you set trim time, the length of the captured clip will be shown in the Select Length box for your reference.

How To Join mts Video Files?

 

MTS Converter allows you to merge your selected contents into one file.

If you want to merge the selected contents into one file you can click the button. As default the merged file is named as Merge.

1. Click to name the merge file.
2. Click to delete your selected file and click to delete all your added files.
3. Right click the selected file to select "Move Up" or "Move Down" to adjust the sequences for the merged file.
4. Directly drag other added files to the queue of the merge file.

How To Crop mts Video format Files?

 

MTS Converter allows you to remove the black edges around your movie video and customize the size of video play region.

Click to open the Crop Video window, then you can crop your video and set the zoom mode according to your need.

Crop Your Video

Method 1: Crop by adjusting the crop frame

The crop frame is the yellow line around the movie video. There are eight small adjustment boxes on the crop frame. Each adjustment box allows you to crop the movie video from a different position. To crop your movie video, you can just move your mouse cursor to an adjustment box and drag the crop frame.

Method 2: Crop by setting the crop values

There are four crop values on the buttom of the window: Left, Top, Right, Bottom. You can set each value to crop your movie video, and the crop frame will move accordingly.

Set the Zoom Mode

You can also set the output aspect ratio from the Zoom Mode according to your need. There are four choices available: Keep Original, Full Screen, 16:9 and 4:3.

Keep Original: Keep the aspect ratio of the crop size.

Full Screen: Stretch your cropped video to fit for the aspect ratio of the resolution setting.

16:9: Stretch your cropped video to fit for the aspect ratio of 16:9.

4:3: Stretch your cropped video to fit for the aspect ratio of 4:3.

Note: While you crop your video and set the zoom mode, the result can be previewed in the Output Preivew window.

How To Take Snapshot?

 

MTS Converter allows you to capture your favorite pictures from your video when preview.

The "Snapshot" and "Folder" are under the Preview Window.

Click and the current picture in the Preview window will be captured and saved.

Click to open the folder where the captured images are saved. As default the captured image will be saved at users' My Documents\ Studio\Snapshot.

Preferences: Set the snapshot preferences

Snapshot Folder: Click "Browse" to select the folder to save the captured images. Click "Open" if you want to open the folder.

Image Type: Click the drop-down arrow to set the type of your captured image: JPEG, GIF or BMP formats.
